In July 2024, the prestigious international festival Premio Metastasio took place for the fourth time in the Italian town of Scalea, gathering over 200 guests in the historic gardens of the Spinelli Palace. This renowned award, organized with the support of the municipal administration, annually honors outstanding individuals whose achievements bring pride to Scalea and strengthen its connection to the global community.

One of the evening’s highlights was the presentation of awards in various categories, including art, science, culture, and social initiatives. In the Art category, the prize was awarded to Pavel Kir, whose work was recognized for its unique contribution to contemporary art and its profound philosophical and emotional resonance. The award, presented by the cultural advisor Adelina Carocini, was not only a testament to the artist’s exceptional skill but also a reminder that art knows no borders and has the power to unite different cultures.
